It has been awhile since we last sent out a newsletter. But this doesn't mean we have been taking it easy. On the contrary, we have been very busy on a number of fronts and we'd love to tell you about all that we have been up to.

We do alot of business on Amazon.com. and while we are eternally grateful for that marketing relationship it has always puzzled us as to why, when given a choice, many customers chose to purchase from us via the Amazon marketplace rather than from our website.
Now, as of our latest upgrade, customers can shop on our site and perform the actual checkout using Amazon checkout. This means that if you have an Amazon account, you can use any of your Amazon pay phrases as well as any card that you have on file with Amazon in order to make payment on products that you have added to your cart on SirishaGlobalBazaar.com. In fact it is the same checkout process in every way, including protection under the Amazon A to Z Guarantee.

Due to some changes to the U.S. Postal Service online rater system we were forced to upgrade our shopping cart system to the latest version. While we added some really nice, new features we lost and/or had to accept some alternative ways to how we were used to doing things on our site. Overall, we are very pleased with the upgrade. Our site is leaner, cleaner and speedier!

Rewards changes; Bonus points can now be converted to a gift certificate and either redeemed at checkout OR utilized as a true gift certificate ie. sent via U.S. Mail or email. The amount of bonus points received, as well as redemption point, remains unchanged. Please see our Sirisha Rewards page for more information.

Returns Authorizations; Registered users can file a return authorization online via the My Account page.

Finding product on our site has never been easier. In addition to standard search and our Categories menu system we also have a new Site Map and Products Map that provides new views into our product catalog.
These are a list of the most visible changes. Many of the changes are in general presentation and speed, making our site faster and easier to navigate.

Although we are small we continue to do our best to evolve our products. In addition to some design changes for comfort (based upon customer input) we've added two new colors to our very popular Women's Shorty Pajamas; Cherry Red and Lavender. We have received very good reviews for quality, comfort and style on these great little pajamas sets.
To help all the Mother's out there celebrate their upcoming special day we have set up a special coupon code that can be used at checkout time for 20% off on merchandise (excluding shipping charges). In our quest to provide the best products that we possibly can we have changed our manufacturing relationship in SE Asia. We are hoping to integrate more new designs and add new service offerings as things develop.
Upcoming changes:
- New Men's pajama design. We have just sent off our latest shipment from our manufacturer that includes a new Men's pajama design. There are enough changes to merit a new product name which our customers will be seeing sometime in mid-May. We will continue to offer the existing designs but we are excited to be able to branch out into new directions.
- Special Orders. We can now offer custom tailored garments sewn to our customers specifications. If we have a shipment leaving the manufacturing facility we can include special orders in our ocean shipment OR offer reasonably priced air shipments via regular postal mail or via Fedex. We'll be advertising this service more as we come up with a convenient way to offer web ordering.
In the long run we feel that these changes will provide better quality products for our customers and allow us to be more responsive to suggested design changes, color requests, garment types, etc. We have several new designs in the works now and will be introducing them over the course of the next few months.

On the latest visit to Vietnam, where we have most of our garments made, we made it a point to visit the fabric market where we could preview the latest fabric offerings.
Our Women's Asian Nouveau robes have been one of our most popular offerings. This particular product is based upon limited edition fabrics in the most vivid and dramatic patterns and colors that we can come up with. The fact that we sell through them so quickly confirms that we are on the right track, our customers love them!
We thought that our customers might like to take a look as well and we took our camera along with us to the markets. You can check out these new fabric choices at our Nouveau Fabrics 2011 page. As we get closer to putting an order together with our manufacturer we will put the word out to all of our customers via our newsletter.

That about wraps it up for our April 2011 newsletter. We continue to do our best to improve our product quality as well as our relationship with our customers. We have made improvments across the board as part of an ongoing effort to reach our production and customer service goals.
We are closing out a nearly month long trip to SE Asia where we personally inspected, folded and packaged nearly every garment that we shipped out. This is how seriously we take our commitement to our customers and we hope it shows.
