A customer (and friend) of ours visited Thailand recently as part of a group of travel professionals who were touring the country, as guests of the tourism department I believe, in the hopes that they would come back home and tout the benefits of scheduling trips to their wonderful country.

Among the other things that he told us (not in these exact words, but very close) was that he expected to see things like ours all over  the  country.  The compliment that he gave to us, which overjoyed us and is a verbatim quote, was that we had the  ”best of the best”,  speaking specifically of our products.

Needless to say, this made us feel warm all over and confirmed (thankfully) that we were on the right track in regards to our product choices.

One big reason is that we have been listening to our customer’s requests ever since we first opened our business and have done our best to find those things that people have asked for.

The other reason is due to the quality manufacturers that we have been so lucky to discover.  Since products can be quite expensive to buy and ship from Thailand we are incredibly selective.  The products that aren’t the highest quality and best value for the money don’t make it on our shipments.

The two families of Thai products that have worked out extremely well for us are the 100% Thai Silk clothing and the 92.5% sSilver jewelry lines, both of which we buy directly from small manufacturers who offer excellent workmanship at great prices.

Silver Jewelry

This shipment, and as the direct result of specific customer requests, we have brought in a bevy of new silver jewelry products.  Here are just a few examples of the new designs that we received last week, that blend 92.5% Silver with a mix of other beautiful man-made and natural elements:

We only have limited quantities of these available until our next ordering cycle begins again in late summer/early fall when we do our Holiday shopping.

Thai Silk Clothing

Some of our most popular clothing items are the ultra-unique Women’s Thai Silk blouses, tunics, skirts and dresses made from the traditional Mudmee Silk which is manufactured manually on looms versus the machine made silk that is most often seen.

For Summer we have brought in 8 new designs that are bound to make you look great and feel comfortable.

• New dress designs (sleeveless sun-style)
• New skirt designs (long and short, quilted and non-quilted)
• Mandarin-style 3 quarter sleeve tunics (these are especially stylish)
• several new styles of blouses.

Unfortunately time didn’t permit our getting photos of these new products but we’ve been working hard to get them unpacked and on display so they could be enjoyed by our customers as quickly as possible.

All of our Thai manufacturers have been long term and steady for us, and they continue to produce some of the finest products that we have;  Truly the best of the best!
