Within the comfortable confines of the Nexus clubhouse, Lek will be
instructing the class on the finer points of Thai cooking. Having
grown up in a family of 3 sisters ( all involved in the restaurant
business at one time or another) and having a Mother who is a wonderful
cook herself, Lek grew up learning how to prepare a full variety of
fresh, tasty dishes. Here in the U.S. she has never ventured too
far from sharing her skills, whether it be working within the
restaurant industry (Beau Thai's of NW Portland) or teaching classes.
Lek goes beyond what you will ever find in just reading a receipe.
She always includes time-saving (and taste-bud saving) tips that
will help you prepare your own just-like-at-the-restaurant meals at
home at a fraction of the cost of going out.
Please be sure to RSVP us (by email to rsvp@sirishaglobalbazaar.com or by phone at 503-419-4148) at least 3 days prior to class to let us know that you are coming.
(Please note that food costs are extra and will be between $8 - $15 per
person)
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at least 2 days prior to the
scheduled class.
In the event of cancellation (attendee), a Sirisha Global Bazaar
in-store credit will be issued in the form of an in-house gift
certificate, good for any of our product and/or service offerings.
If you'd like to learn more about our classes, please visit the Thai Cooking section of our Sirisha Global Bazaar website (http://sirishaglobalbazaar.com/thaicooking), where you can also request a full course class date outside of our regularly scheduled offerings.
